Newark Magnus Cycle Project
In August 2009 we are entering in to a very exciting partnership with the Magnus School at Newark to renovate and adapt cycles for use across Africa.
The Magnus School already runs a successful and very popular project on a local scale but we have ambitious plans to canvass and collect hundreds more cycles, renovate them and provide them with parcel shelves (front and rear), to locations all across Africa, at a price that people there can afford.
The scheme, which will be entirely charitable and not-for-profit will also engage many local people – including youngsters, unemployed and retired people, working with us, for free, for a wonderful cause.
